July 4th Great Success!

Chesapeake City had a very successful July 4th event. It was a real home-town event for the whole family with music and good food and a superb fireworks show. There were several of the local professional photographers in town on hand taking photos, and we're sure they got some nice shots to add to their portfolios.

Chesapeakecity.com was there to see what photos we could get with our little Nikon CoolPix, and we were pretty surpised at how they turned out. We put together this montage at right to give you an idea of how nice the show was.

Those who attended the show will tell you that the fireworks were really off to the right further rather than right over the bridge, but we're taking a little poetic license just for fun. The music was great with youngsters and adults dancing on the gazebo stage until the show started and the music changed to stirring patriotic tunes. Everyone had a wonderful time. It was a great night for all.
